We love to celebrate our children's achievements, and we have several ways of doing this.  

Superstar Award

The Superstar Award will be given weekly, replacing our previous Star of the Week award.

Each week, a child will be chosen at random from each class. The children in the class will then discuss why they feel that child is worthy of being their class Superstar for that particular week.

These awards will be celebrated by the whole school during our Friday morning Celebration Assembly, giving everyone the opportunity to recognise and celebrate each child’s success.

Headteacher Awards

Our Headteacher Awards will recognise children who have demonstrated something particularly special through their work, behaviour, attitude or actions.

Children receiving a Headteacher Award will be invited to take a special trip to Mrs Palumbo’s office, where they will be recognised and rewarded for their achievement.

In-the-Moment Rewards 

We want to make sure that positive behaviour and achievements are recognised in the moment.

• EYFS and KS1 children will receive stickers to celebrate their positive choices, effort, kindness and achievements.
• KS2 children will receive a VIP Award as recognition for those special in-the-moment achievements and these will be sent home with the child.

Special Achievement Awards

Our Lunchtime Staff and Wraparound Care Staff will also have the opportunity to recognise and reward children through Special Achievement Awards.

This will allow us to celebrate the fantastic things our children do across all aspects of their school day — not just in the classroom.

We are really excited about our new rewards system and look forward to celebrating all the wonderful achievements, efforts and positive choices our children make throughout the year.
