Hi I'm Gina Hunt, and I'm so excited to be a member of New Swannington's Governing Board.

As a parent of two boys, one who is currently in Year 1 and one who is desperate to start school despite only being 2,  I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the New Swannington Family.  From my first visit as a prospective parent to cheering on EYFS at last year's sports day, I have felt included and have seen first hand the amazing things the teaching and support staff do to make the school a fantastic place to learn.

I currently work in Higher Education but have previous experience in a school administrative setting.  I know, first hand, the hard work and dedication it takes to make a magical school like New Swannington run.  I have always had a passion for school, and it's something I hope to instil in my children.  Supporting a love for learning is imperative to finding your passions and creating ideas for the future.  My background is Theatre and I have loved volunteering my time over the years to numerous drama clubs and groups.  I would love to bring some of my dramatic flare to New Swannington and cannot wait to share my ideas.
