Welcome to Year 6
Our class teacher is Mr Skinner and our LSA's are Mrs Rossell and Mrs Norton. Lots of other adults work with us in school too including: Mrs Stevenson who teaches French and Miss Steadman who helps teach PE.
Year 6 is an important year when children undertake roles and responsibilities throughout the school. Some of these roles include: House Captains, School Council leaders, School Safety and Road Safety Officers and Prefects. All of these roles require children to be organised, responsible and independent.
We have a number of exciting trips that have been planned, or are in the process of being planned, all of which will support the learning that takes place in class and promote the value of working together.
September - Warning Zone
October - Red Ridge Residential National Justice Museum
December - Theatre Trip
March - Trip to Parliament, London
June/July - End of Year Collaborative Transition Event
