A great day was had by all at New Swannington last week as children and staff celebrated World Book Day 2019 in costumes of characters from their favourite books.

Children shared a book with their alphabet spaghetti at breakfast club, shared costumes in an assembly parade, completed a book character hunt quiz and joined in a whole school story share at the end of the day.

Children also raised over £50 for Book Aid International.
